    Spring 2021 Graduation Events:

On March 1st , President Wintersteen released a statement regarding plans for Spring 2021 Graduation events. You can read that announcement here: https://www.president.iastate.edu/communications/messages/2021/3/1-spring-commence .

I graduated in a previous semester or will be graduating in the fall of 2021; can I participate in the spring 2021 graduation events?

The events planned for spring 2021 will be limited to only those students graduating in Spring 2021 or Summer 2021, in order to safely accommodate graduates and guests. We remain committed to inviting Spring 2020, Summer 2020, and Fall 2020 graduates back to campus for a future in-person commencement when conditions allow. We are currently reviewing options for a commencement ceremony for these students in October 2021.

My graduation application status has not been updated, what do I do?

Our team of degree completion evaluators are currently reviewing all undergraduate applications and degree audits. We are making every effort to get through evaluations as quicky as possible. In the meantime, double check that your degree audit is indicating that all of your requirements are met or in-progress. Please review any issues with your academic advisor as soon as possible. Additionally, be sure that any non-reported grades for previous coursework or incompletes are corrected. Once your file has been reviewed by your evaluator, you will receive an email with your status.
