In the Event of Inclement Weather
The Spring 2017 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. in Jack Trice Stadium. Given the size of the venue, tickets will be not required for this venue; however, in the event of inclement weather (e.g., extreme cold or heat, snow, lightening, etc.), the ceremony will be relocated to Hilton Coliseum with additional seating available in Stephens Auditorium, where guests will view the ceremony via a live stream. Because Hilton Coliseum is not large enough to accommodate all of our graduates and their family and friends, Inclement Weather tickets will be issued in advance of the ceremony.
Inclement Weather tickets are for the family and guests of graduates – not the graduates themselves – to gain admittance to Hilton Coliseum in the event the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony is relocated due to inclement weather. Individuals without a ticket will be redirected to the additional seating available in Stephens Auditorium where a ticket is not required.
To be eligible to receive the Inclement Weather tickets, graduates must have indicated that they plan to attend the Spring 2017 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony within AccessPlus.
Four (4) Inclement Weather tickets will be made available to each graduate.
Tickets will be available for pick-up in the University Book Store starting the morning of Monday, April 3, 2017, through the end of business day on Friday, May 5, 2017.
In order to pick-up the Inclement Weather tickets from the University Book Store, a photo ID will be required.
The graduate must pick up their own tickets from the University Book Store (i.e., a friend, family member, etc., cannot pick up the tickets on behalf of another).
We are unable to honor “lost tickets.” Therefore, it is critical that you keep these in a safe location should they need to be used.
